While the 14mm (0.55″) thickness of the ADIPOWER CTRL 2 may make you think of control, and to a point, it should, but the High Density (HD) Polypropylene Honeycomb core ratchets up the power a bit by packing in more small-diameter honeycomb cells per square inch. To balance out the power elements engineered into this paddle, the core situates a large sweet spot dead in the center to limit miss hits and allow this paddle to earn its “CTRL” (control) moniker. The 5″ handle wrapped in a tacky and cushioned grip limits vibrations up your arm and ensures you are quick during fast exchanges at the kitchen.
