About Me

Avi, with an outstanding background as a player and instructor brings both his passion and his expertise to the Court helping you to believe and achieve your pickleball goals.

Avi was born in Israel and played tennis for 10 years and is a USTA 4.5 Tennis ranked player. When playing tennis he competed in USTA Nationals after winning four Sectionalschampionshiips with his team, and he won second place in men's doduble at Nationals in 2016.

Avi had been competing in Pickleball since 2017. He is ranked as a 4.5 pickleball player and has played competitive pickleball throughout the tri-state region. He is a top 40-ranked DUPR player in the North Mid-Atlantic region. His wins include medals for mixed doubles in the Philadelphia Open and men's doubles in the NJ Open. He is a PCI Certified Pickleball Instructor and has been instructing students through private lessons and clinis since 2019. He is the Head Picklball Pro at the Katz JCC in Cherry Hill, NJ where he offers private lessons, open play and clinics for all ages.

Avi can help you master essential funamental skills, strategy, dinking, blocking, lobbing etc. These learned skills will enable players to adapt to all situations across the net. His teaching techniques help students feel comfortable on the court

Avi's goal is to help sharpen his students ability so they can progress to the next level.

He is an authorized Representative for MANY Pickleball Equipment Manufacturers and Suppliers.
